Reset calorie calculation

Is there a way to reset the calorie calculations? I sent it in for repair on the wristband mechanism and didn't disconnect it from my account at the time. Since I got it back the calorie estimations are well over what they should be.
Used to be that if I spend an hour in the gym I'd get to about 3000kCal in a day, I'm now consistently getting that if I go on a short walk.

I tried doing a factory reset and then deleting all my local data but it seems to have things saved somewhere. The watch face was still the one I last used and my steps for today were still displayed although I'd expect it to be 0, since I just deleted all the step data and reset the watch.

Hello @SunsetRunner

I don’t know why it’s doing that, but it might be an idea to check that your gender, age, weight and height are all set correctly in your profile.

You can check that by going into the App on your phone, tap your profile picture, then your name to view your profile. Tap Personal and it should show the stats that are set for you.

Calorie burn has a BMR that is set from your basic information and then your Resting Heart Rate is also used to calculate your Zones for each day.  They do change depending on fluctuations in the Heart Rate and weight.

If you tap on Zone Minutes on the Today Screen in the App on your phone it will show your heart rate requirements for each zone that day.  That would probably be a good way to check if they’re way off or sound about right.

I hope that helps a bit.

The stats are correct.
My guess is that since it was in a box for a while and now again on my
wrist it's thinking my heart rate has jumped up or something of the like. A
reset should fix it but it seems to be remembering things that it shouldn't
through a reset.
