Restart Charge 5 to resolve syncing issues

For the longest time, my Charge 5 would not sync with my phone. What worked for me was to start the sync on the phone, then go to Settings>Bluetooth and just tap on Charge 5.

 

Worked for me, may not for everyone.

In addition to the restart, there are some other troubleshooting steps in this article that we recommend to resolve syncing issues.

 

You can also set up your Tracker as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1653962753026.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Should I take this to mean that I should not be posting alternative solutions to the syncing problem, correct?
