Screen went black

Yesterday screen of my charge 5 went black. Tried all that written in this forum, but no use.

Sad to hear your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Please make sure your device is charged by closely following these instructions:

How do I charge my Fitbit device? 

Although you've mentioned already having tried all possible ways to get your device back to live, I'd suggest trying to restart your Charge 5 once again as this sometimes requires several attempts. Please closely follow these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for your feedback, @yltmzl, although I would have liked to hear something different.

As you seem to be out of luck getting things fixed by yourself, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support for further support:

Same.

Charges but then looses battery life quickly.

Screen is black but still records heart rate and steps. I installed software update after screen went black. I try to reset but cant tell if it is resetting b/c screen is black.

They agreed to send replacement but since it is on back order wont be available until Aug 4, 2023.

This is one is my replaced one. One year ago i had the same problem. Fitbit team replaced it.
