The Charge 5 is worthless. Why pay $150 for a watch that only works for a few months?? I bought mine in March 2022. By August 2022 it wasn’t working. They sent a replacement in September. Now it’s 9 months later and the replacement is dead and they will only give we a discount on buying another one because the warranty is one year from the Original purchase! Really?? Why should I pay $150 for a watch that lasts less than a year and a half? A waste of money.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Mydevice!
Sad to hear about your impressions with your Fitbit Charge 5. As much as I understand your disappointment, I would like to point out that you have received your replacement Charge 5 pebble as a spare part, and it's common practice in business that spare parts do not extend the warranty of the original product you've purchased. Under these circumstances t's a sign of goodwill on Fitbit's side that they offer customers a discount on a new device, even more so because you can chose whatever device you want to get this time.

That's by no means what I've said, @Mydevice.
I've been in that business for over 30 years, and I've learned a few things. One is that there's always a chance of getting malfunctioning devices, no matter which brand they are. The other one is that forums like this one are to be considered hospitals as no one of those thousands of users who don't have issues with their devices never would spend her/his time visiting any forum to tell us about their positive experiences. So there's no way to judge the overall quality of any product by purely counting the number of unsatisfied customers in forums without knowing anything about sales numbers of that given product.
