Skin temperature not being tracked Charge 5

Hi,

I have been wearing my Fitbit Charge 5 for about a month now. Just noticed today that it hasn't been logging any skin temperature data from the start with a message saying - no data. Can you help fix this?

Thanks!

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @Nanoman

Your Charge 5 identifies changes in skin temperature, this is only available in the Fitbit app and only displays variation. Before considering other options, please make sure to follow the recommendations listed here. In addition, you can try restarting your device using the charging cable.

In addition, keep in mind that the Health Metrics tile are not available in all regions. To check if the tile is available in your region, see the health metrics page on the Fitbit website. If you're still having trouble with the app not showing you the information, please try to:

  • Log out from the app.
  • Clear Cache for the Fitbit app on your phone's settings (Settings > Apps > Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache)
  • Restart your phone.
  • Log back in to check if you're able to see the tile.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the app, as this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar.
  • Try to set up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account if you're still having the same problem.

Thanks, DavideFitbit,

Setting up the Charge 5 as a new device fixed the problem and now tracking changes in skin temperature data.

Cheers!
