Hi, @Omakrentje, welcome to the community, Try restarting your Charge 5, this Video demonstrates the process. The second section will be your best bet. The timing with the button is critical.
Are you experiencing difficulty syncing your Charge 5 with the Fitbit app on your phone? How do Fitbit devices sync their data? & Why won't my Fitbit device sync? A successful Sync will allow you to check the state of charge in your Charge 5. If it is zero or very low Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? describes the issue and possible causes.
Allowing you have synced your Charge 5 to the Fitbit app on your phone try changing the clock face, This sometimes resolves these problems, you can always change it back.
If these steps leave you without progress your best next move will be to talk to "Customer Support" using the phone or Chat facility for a prompt response. Before you make your call note the steps you have taken so you can brief the agent clearly and allow them to understand your problem. You do not mention how long you've had your Charge 5, you may still benefit from Fitbit's warranty depending on when & where you bought it. You will need this information to hand if you think you have a warranty claim.
