Sleep Restarts after Getting Up During Sleep

Is there a way to prevent the Charge 5 from resetting Sleep Analysis after getting up for a bit to go to bathroom etc.  My App will so split sleeping records.   Wish there was a way to prevent this.  Ideas?

I don't know if there is a way to stop it, so if anyone has any insight, would love to hear it.

That said, I stumbled on a hack that has worked for me. First, I note the time I first went to bed (on the first split) and the time I woke up (on the second split). Then I delete one of the splits, leaving only one record which I then edit to reflect the full amount of time I was asleep.

Hello @dan3458585

It is annoying when our Charge 5 devices split our sleep when we get up to use the bathroom or get a drink of water or find the emergency lanterns because the power went out.

I haven't been able to tell if a certain time of being awake & moving around is what triggers the split sleep sessions. When it happens to me, I do what @BezierNougat does to combine my split sleep sessions into a single session. BTW, I've noticed that sometimes it will take a bit for the app to update the sleep graph and sleep score to reflect the corrected combined sleep sessions.

1) Don't sync the app right away when you wake up. Wait until you've been out of bed & moving for a while. (I wait until after I've brushed my teeth at least.)

2) If it does separate them, you can manually delete the second sleep interval, then edit the first one so it has the correct end time. Go back to the main screen and sync, and it should correct your stats.

In my case, my Charge 5 erases anytime I slept prior to a one minute trip to the restroom. I  am only getting stats on three to four hours of sleep per night. Other nights, there is no record of the first three to four hours of sleep.
