Occasionally, I will get up for restroom (very briefly) during night. My Fitbit Charge 5 stops tracking or starts tracking again from that point. Is there a setting I need to change?

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @happyparker.
Thanks for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5.
This is indeed how sleep tracking would work. Keep in mind that your time asleep is calculated by subtracting your time spent awake and restless from your overall tracked sleep time. For example, if you slept 8 hours but woke up 2 times for 15 minutes each, your time asleep would be 7 hr 30 min.
Wrist-based Fitbit devices automatically detect your sleep when you wear your device to bed. When your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device records that you’re asleep. You can find more information on how sleep information is recorded in this article.
See you around in the Community.
