Sleep info after app update

After the new app update, the percentage for 30-day average is missing or moved somewhere else?

The time I go to sleep and wake up is also missing.

Where do I find this?

I don't find this new UI intuitive, it's pretty confusing actually.

Hello @ryacca

When you tap on the Sleep duration tile from the Today page, it should open to the Sleep page which should show your sleep start & wake time.

There should be a tile for 30-day average below the sleep stage graph.

When you tap on the tile, you should see the graph change to show your 30 day average with percentages

If you're not seeing the Sleep duration tile on the Today page, please let us know.

Hi Rieko,

Thanks, I do see the sleep start and end time now. This is fine.

However, regarding the 30-day monthly avg., it shows the same sleep percentages as the ones under benchmark. For example: under benchmark, deep sleep from two days ago was 7% and under 30-day avg also shows 7%. the percentages for yesterday's sleep shows 10% in both benchmark AND 30-day avg as well.

Hi @ryacca

I hope I'm understanding your question correctly.

Your percentages for the sleep stages should be the same in the Benchmark and 30 day average graph when you are viewing them for the same night's sleep.

Benchmark shows your percentage for each stage along with the shaded sections for "Typical range for people like you". This lets you see how your sleep compares to the range of other similar people. The 30 day average graph uses the same percentages and shows you how your sleep compares to your 30 day average (black dot on the graph).

If I didn't answer your question/concern, please let us know.

I have a screenshot of this issue in the older version, too. It's hard to believe that today's percentages and the 30-day avg is exactly the same for all four stages.

In the new version, I see the same the same percentages as well, when I flip between benchmark and 30-day avg.

I don't think I am getting correct 30-day avages for the sleep stages.

Hello @ryacca

I'm sorry, but I'm not understanding your issue with the sleep stage percentages in Benchmark and 30 day average graphs.

The screenshots you provide from the updated sleep section only show the Benchmark graphs for 2 nights. The screenshot from the previous version of the sleep section shows 30 day average.

Would you please provide new screenshots that show the issue that you're experiencing so that we can help you?

Hi Rieko,

I have attached screenshots that show the last three days under my 30-day average.

Where do I find the actual percentage number for the 30-day averages for each of the four stages? The average is just a dot which doesn't tell me much.

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi @ryacca

Thanks for the screenshots and the information that you're looking for. Sorry that I was having trouble understanding.

To my knowledge, there isn't a way to see the average percentage value for each stage. The screenshot from your previous sleep data version looks like you have the values. However, the way I see it is that you had a night where your sleep stages matched your weekly average. I don't believe there was a way to see the actual value in the previous sleep graph layout.

I agree this would be a great feature to have. Please consider submitting this as a feature request in the Product Feedback forum (<-- click link). I understand that the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested.

Hi Rieko,

This information is included in the raw data. I have attached my data for May 19th, and you can see the "thirtyDayAvgMinutes" that shows the value for each stage. This used to be in the old UI as a percentage. It would be great if the UI was updated to include this back in! There is also a post regarding this on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/fitbit/s/MQQdpv0ri3
