I am quite unhappy with this charge 5 not giving daily sleep information. Do you have to subscribe to the premium to get the info? My charge 3 gave it reliably for free every day. What’s with the charge 5?

Nope. I have premium but still getting really poor sleep info. May cancel altogether. Charge 2 was way better.

Hello @Youruseless
I’ve never had Premium and mine seems to be working pretty well.
Do you get any information at all in the morning? It does usually need more than 3 hours of sleep to be able to measure. If your sleep is too short it won’t count it.
One thing I would suggest is switching your sensitivity to Normal’ and see if that’s better. I move quite a bit so if it’s on Sensitive it can think I’m awake when I’m not. Normal seems to work well for me.
The other things they suggest is making sure it’s not too tight (or too loose), so that it can measure your heart rate.
Do you get a consistent heart rate measurement during the night? If there are big gaps, that might be the problem.
I hope that helps a bit. If it doesn’t, sorry.

Thank you for the information. My charge 3 gave me daily sleep information but died so I got the charge 5. It is a disappointment for sure.

Hello @PhilT1964
How interesting. I’m left-handed too and wear my Charge 5 on my non-dominant right wrist 24/7 and my G-Shock on my left, as I always have, when I’m out and about.
I use my Charge 5 solely as a fitness tracker (not a watch) and found I could make the transition really easily, despite never wearing anything on my right arm. I guess we’re all different in our tolerances.
I’m sorry it’s not working out for you.
You raised a really great point I hadn’t thought of before. Perhaps people having problems could try to switch to their non-dominant hand at night…
