Sleep session splitted in two chunks

My fitbit charge 5 breaks my nightly sleep  into two sessions with 2 hours missing between them.

What is the problem and how can it be fixed? This has happened for a few consecutive nights.

Hello @sc-sue

Have you had a chance to edit your sleep log in the Fitbit app to combine the 2 sessions into a single one?

Every now & then, I've seen that my sleep was broken into 2 sessions. When that happens, I make note of my sleep start & wake times, delete one of the sessions, and edit the time on the other session to combine the 2. Sometimes, it takes a bit of time for the app to update the sleep data, including sleep score & sleep stages graph. But this process has worked for me.

Hi @sc-sue. Thanks for stopping by, i hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your sleep tracking and the reason why your sleep splitted in two sessions.

This may arrive when you move to much during a period of your sleep session causing your device to interpret like you woke up and went back to sleep.

Take a look at our help article What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?below the section "What are some tips for getting a good night's sleep?" andsee if those help you with this behavior.

I hope this information will be helpful for you!
