Have had the device for 3 days and although it shows that I'm sleeping my targeted amount of hours my sleep stages aren't registering..
I've adjusted the band multiple times but that hasn't yielded the desired results
I spoke with customer support yesterday and reset my Charge 5 via the cable but today the data from last night's sleep still didn't show up..
I'm quickly losing patience with this device..

Regarding the heart rate field of the Charge 5, I would recommend that you post this idea in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community if you have a specific suggestion about this, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers. This is always useful to continue to track popularity and demand over time.
Have a great day.

I have the exact same issues with My Charge 5. As a way around the problem I have been using a a phone app called SleepScore by a company called ResMed. it is free and works really well on my IPhone to log all the sleep stages. I highly recommend it.
Hopefully Fitbit will figure out a solution soon to this systemic issue,

4 Days in a row of "proper" sleep tracking..celebrate the new year? Nah, I'm going to celebrate this 😊
I think I had an issue last week where my tracker went offline and thus some of the functionality stopped working.
I don't know as yesterday while doing my elliptical workout, after mimicking the HR results of the machine(impressive) for some reason it went rogue and stopped correctly relaying my HR..very frustrating as it was the last 5 min of my workout and I was in a zone having my HR at the high of the season.
Perhaps sweat was culprit...
Will be watching for that at today's workout.
So net net, aside from the ludicrously small HR & % charged fonts on the watch, my experience with the Charge 5 has gotten a lot better as the connection issue I mentioned prior prob impacted the watch's functioning.
Still not sure if I'm gonna be keeping it...
So Fitbit community you're just gonna have to keep sitting on the edges of your seat until I decide 🤔

@SunsetRunner Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing with your Charge 5 and the heart rate information. It's good to know that your sleep tracking has improved.
Before considering other options, I recommend that you try restarting the device using the three pulse restart method mentioned here below, instead of the restart option found on the Charge 5 itself:
In addition, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.
