Upgraded to a Charge 5 a few days ago, and noticed a slight misalignment on the display.
The left hand side seems nice and flush to the side, but the right hand side has an ever so slight gap between the display and the side. Yeah mean, probably slightly less than a millimeter. More noticeable in the upper right.
Am I being wayyyyy too particular, and is this pretty common, or should I be concerned? Like, should the display fully fill its space, or will there be a slight amount of space just depending on initial manufacture placement?
It seems to run fine, and the display itself doesn’t seem crooked as far as being tilted or one side raised higher than the other or anything. I just don’t want it to affect water resistance at all.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @DangerMeatball.
Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Charge 5 and all your feedback.
If possible, could you please provide a picture here of the misalignment on the display that you mentioned earlier? I know that the display doesn't fill the space completely, there's a small space in between, but it shouldn't be too big. In the meantime, please try restarting your device using the charging cable as well to make sure it's not a different problem related to the display.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Hi @DangerMeatball - here are a couple views from my Charge 5 for comparison, in case they help.

This is the best pic I got of it as straight on as I could manage. It’s not huge, but I noticed it when a bit of dust got in the right hand side (there’s a bit of dust in the small gap in the pic). And if it isn’t supposed to fill the whole space and this just happens to be the way mine ended up aligned, that’s ok.
Edit: My issue is where the screen meets the bezel. I know the display area will be smaller.
I just don’t want to worry about either the screen popping out or losing water resistance.

@DangerMeatball Thank you for sharing this picture and for all the other details!
There shouldn't really be any gaps around the display. To make sure everything is in order, and If you continue to experience this problem with a bit of dust getting stuck in the middle or around the display, I do recommend that you get in touch with the Customer Support team so they can let you now if there are any options available for you. You can click here to get connected, to chat with us or give us a call.
Let us know about the outcome.

@DavideFitbit
I’ll try to get in touch with Customer Service tomorrow when I have time.
I purchased this at Walmart less than a week ago, so I’m also considering doing an exchange there.
Thanks
