Smart Wake doesn’t work after latest update on Charge 5

I was very happy with the smart wake function on my Charge 5 but after latest update (at the end of june) smart wake feature is not working properly. The alarm wont go off. Only way im able to get it to work is by restarting device and deleting old alarm, than setting new one. And then it works only for one-two days max. It is really anoying to do this every night. Is there a way to install older update? Or will there be another update that will fix the smart wake issue? Thank you.

Thank you for informing us about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 5 and for the troubleshooting steps you’ve performed.

 

There is no option to install an older firmware version. In this case, I would recommend setting up your Tracker as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1658281851012.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

In addition, please try to restart your Charge 5 by following the two different ways available. For instructions, please visit this article.
