I want to use the stopwatch to time yoga classes I teach. I need to be able to just glance at the watch and see where I am in the class or how long we’ve been holding something. But I don’t seem to be able to keep the stopwatch visibly running at all times. It seems that if the screen dims the stopwatch display freezes and I can’t get it back to the current timing without either tapping or twisting my wrist which I don’t want to be bothered doing.
I have tried setting the display to always on. And I’ve set the timeout to long (there doesn’t seem to be a no timeout option). But even so the stopwatch display still freezes - the stopwatch is still running – you just can’t see the current time, which makes it pretty useless.
Is there some combination of settings that will keep the running stopwatch always visible without having to move or touch the watch face? It’s not really a stopwatch if you can’t see the current timing without having to do something to the watch. I understand that will use more power, but that's fine for an hour class a few times a week.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @doug493.
Thank you for sharing this inquiry about the stopwatch feature on your Charge 5.
I just tried this feature on my Charge 5, but I was able to see the stopwatch while the Always On display was turned on. Could you please confirm if the stopwatch is disappearing after a specific number of minutes? In the meantime, please try restarting your device using the charging cable, as described here.
Or let me know if you're not using the stopwatch feature and you're referring to the exercise mode. I did notice that while you're recording an exercise, the stopwatch is visible at the bottom on the screen.
