For example. If I have my fitbit recording a walk and I get a ride, the recording should automatically stop if speeds go above 5 mph.
Perhaps I'm not using "auto recognize" correctly. I would like the device to automatically start and end recording exercise like walking. I thought I have mine set for "auto recognize" yet the my walking only seems to count toward exercise when I manually start it and only stops when I manually stop recording on the fitbit app or the device.
Unfortunately I have a bad memory so many walks go unrecorded, and unfortunately often when I hop a ride, vehicle time is recorded as walk exercise.
It would be nice if the exercise recording would automatically end, if I forget to manually end before getting a ride. Say I am out for a walk, and someone offers me a ride or I decide to ride a bus or train and forget to turn off my recorded walk. The "auto sense" technology should have software logic that ends the exercise session when the walk reaches speeds that are not naturally human reached speeds for a given exercise.
Thanks.
