I bought a Charge 5 less than a year ago and the touch screen stopped working, it doesn't slide or even access the menu. Contacted support and they told me to send it to them which I did and showed them the Fedex proof of receipt. They asked me to wait until the warehouse confirms and it's been a week and nothing, but I sent the device almost a month ago.
I bought 3 Fitbit Versa 3, Charge 5, and Versa 4, the only one that had a problem was the Charge 5 and the only time I needed assistance they simply ignored me.
It's very frustrating, I hope you never need support from them. Honestly not going to buy fitbit anymore.
