Swimming lap count on charge 5 wrong

Several times when swimming laps the count is wrong. It always ends in uneven count even though I swim even laps. Would like the option to do edit the lap count on the app. It only allows to update the distance but the lap count is stilll wrong.

I have the same problem. I always put the watch in Swim mode, push start and wait to see if the timer is running before I start swimming. Even so, it is rare for the lap count to be an even number. I seem to always be short 1 lap. I know I am not miscounting because I end up on the same end of the pool that I started my swim. 😊 My daughter has the same issue with her charge 5. It makes me wonder if that is why they don't want to display the lap count on the screen during a swim. Perhaps they know it is not accurate.
