Sync deleted data in app and on watch

I tried to sync my Charge 5 with the iPhone app (latest version). The watch had been recording my steps, heart rate, sleep, etc. all day. After the sync the app showed no data (looking as if I hadn’t been wearing the watch all day) and the watch had also been reset. It showed me as having 5 steps all day, at 9pm. Before the sync I was far over 10,000 steps. 

I chatted with support and restarted the watch, logged out of the app, turned my phone on and off, and hard restarted the app, and nothing worked. 

I am very sad because this was one of my highest activity days, and I was interested in the heart rate data, which is now gone forever.

 

There are consistent slow syncing problems with the Charge 5 and the app, but it’s never deleted my data like this.

I appreciate you letting me know about this situation in regards to the data tracked on your Charge 5.

I was able to confirm you contacted support as you mentioned, and they were able to provide you with a solution, if you have any other questions or concerns, my best recommendation would be to contact them once again.
