Sync issues again?

Hello,

 

Just touching base to see if there are sync issues again today February 9, 2023. There is no banner proclaiming there is a server issue, but my Charge 5 isn't syncing up to my android. I must admit that I'm a little bewildered there has been so many server issues this past week. Having worked in IT I know how important it is to lab check changes before they are forced out. Thank you for any insight you all can give me.

As far as I can tell, there aren't any sync issues due to Fitbit server outages today (Thurs, Feb 9, 2023). I've been able to sync my Charge 5 to my Android phone today without any problems. If you've already tried all Fitbit's troubleshooting procedures for sync issues, you probably have to contact Fitbit support. 

 

FYI - I discovered a way to tell when there's a Fitbit server outage. If you tap on the Premium icon in the phone app and see a message that Fitbit.com is not available, then the issue is a server outage. I noticed this during the server outage on Monday, Feb 6, 2023 and used this method to confirm the outage on Tuesday, Feb 7, 2023. Tapping the Premium icon will be the first thing I do when I have sync problems. That way, if I confirm it's a Fitbit server issue, I won't be wasting my time trying the troubleshooting procedures.

There is an issue. I cannot sync at all. My Fitbit app is asking if I want to pair with  a charge 2. I have a charge 5. It's doesn't seem to be paired. I even had. Weird thing happen with the app. It came on with a totally different front page. I got home. It came back up, but can't sync, etc
