Text notifications not going to notifications app. It says nothing new. How do I correct.

I appreciate the information that you've provided about this issue with your Charge 5.
Just to confirm, you're receiving all your text notifications but you're not able to see them on the notifications app section? In the meantime, please try completing a three pulse restart procedure and disabling and setting up notifications again if you continue to experience this issue.

yes that is correct. I could not see text messages in the notification app. I tried your suggestions twice and I can now see them in the app. Thank you for help

Hello. My son's Inspire device is having a similar issue. He has it connected to his iphone and is receiving phone call notifications on it but not text messagses. Everything with the settings is correct and I've tried the three pulse restart you mentioned in the thread above. We've turned the phone off and on, logged out of the app, disconnected and reconnected bluetooth, turned all notification settings off and back on and we still can't get messages to appear. Any other suggestions?

Thank you for sharing that you've been having the same problem with your Charge 5.
That seems a bit odd, since the call notifications are working properly. When you're setting up the notifications on the Fitbit app, please make sure the text message option is selected as your default text messages app, instead of Whatsapp or any other app available there, go to your Dashboard > Tap on your profile picture > Tap on Charge 5 > Tap on Notifications > Text messages > Select your phone's messaging app.
In addition, make sure to follow all the steps listed here to resolve problems with notifications. Make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed and to check all the compatibility requirements here. Keep in mind that you won’t see notifications on your Fitbit device if you turned on the Do Not disturb Icon or Sleep Mode.
