Time zone wont change even with sync

My FitBit Charge 5 does not change time zones. My app changes. I have synced several times since the new time zone showed on my app, but the device itself does not change. 

 

The last time I traveled it seemed to change randomly on the second day of my trip. But it really should do it with the sync. Can this be a firmware fix, please? 

 

Any ideas  how to force this time zone change on the FitBit itself?

Hi, thanks for sharing that you've been having this inconvenience with your Charge 5, @KD28.  

If you haven't done so already, make sure that you've disabled the Automatic Time Zone option: 

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab 
     
    > your profile picture >
     
     App Settings >
     
     Time Zone
  2. Turn off the Set Automatically option.
  3. Tap Time Zone and select the correct time zone.
  4. Sync your Fitbit device.

In addition, you can also try restarting your device using the charging cable and check if you continue to have the same issue. 

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.

Yes, it works, but why do we have the timezone option automatically if we need to do it manually?
