I just purchased the Charge 5 yesterday. When I open the app on my phone, an error box keeps popping up, then disappears, then reappears, etc. It says, "Unable to Connect to Device - Error connecting with device. Please make sure your Fitbit is nearby and powered on and then please try again." My Fitbit is on my wrist and my phone is in my other hand. Bluetooth is turned on. I have turned it off and on again on my phone as well as through the app. I deleted the app off my phone and reinstalled it. I did a hard shut down of my phone and turned it back on. The error continuously pops up while I have the app open. Why? How do I get it to stop doing this? Very frustrating since I just bought this yesterday and don't know why it is doing this.

Hello @GreenEyedGirl5
What kind of phone are you using? Is it iPhone or Android?
One thing to try is forgetting any other devices you have connected to Bluetooth until you’ve connected your Fitbit successfully. It’s also a good idea to move away from any other Bluetooth devices.
Another thing to try is switching off any adblockers you might have on your phone until you’ve connected.
Those are 2 regular reasons for the problem I’ve seen.
If I find more ideas I’ll edit this and add them.
Good luck!

This is a link about syncing problems but some of the ideas are useful.
This one starts out with the Charge 4 but if you scroll down it gives more general advice too.
