Unable to use the ECG feature

I'm unable to use the ecg unable to use the.  I attempt to use it on the device, and the device states "set up on phone"  I click that.  A notification gets sent to my phone "  your device would like to open the app"  I click to open the app, and I get "view results" as the only option to choose.  There are no results because I did not test.  I can not get the device to allow me to test.  Please advise.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @CrystalCG.  

Thanks for sharing these details about this issue you're experiencing with your Charge 5.

Before considering other options, please let me know if the Fitbit app is updated and if your Charge 5 syncing properly.  In the meantime, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the ECG app from your Charge 5.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app and restart your tracker.
  3. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  4. Install the ECG app one more time and make sure the permissions are enabled.
  5. Tap Discover > Assessments & Reports > Heart Rhythm Assessment to double check if still appears completed 
  6. Try taking a reading one more time and let me know how it goes.

In addition, make sure to review this list to check if your country has been included between the countries where this feature is currently available.
