My Charge 5 died last week and following customer support was able to charge it up, but it lasts no more than a day. Meanwhile many of the metrics I used, no longer work. I asked if it was covered under warranty, they asked for purchase details, I got the Amazon invoice sent it to Fitbit, then they advised that Amazon had sold this thru a 3rd party and they don't honor warranty for 3rd party with orders. As Fitbit is the manufacturer shouldn't they cover the warranty

I purchased my charge 5 in mid December 2022.  It will not hold a charge for more than an hour or two.  It is not covered by any warranty.  I can’t afford to purchase a new watch every 13 months.

Fitbit claim they certainly strive for optimal reliability but unexpected issues can arise. They acknowledge that their performance hasn't met my expectations they use our feedback to constantly work at improving the quality and durability of their products.

Well after 3 devices in 5 years the feedback seems to fuel their desire to deliver new products over the quality and sustainability of the platforms they've developed.

As I've told them, if It want another tracker, it won't be Fitbit, and when people ask me where's my Fitbit, I'll say, in the trash.
