Was Fitbit down last night?

I awoke at 4:53am this morning and checked the time.  Synced phone to see what time I went to sleep but nothing showed,  I went back to sleep and this morning Charge 5 showed I went to sleep at 4:53am?? I am thinking the system went down for a few hours before that?? I am guessing to went to sleep around 2 am. I have never noticed that before.  I guess I can no longer trust my Charge 5.  Do these watches stop working correctly after a certain time?  This is my second unit. I got my first one in 2019 (it just died )and got this one shortly after charge 5 came out as I had to wait for it.

@bcsurvivor

I am not aware of any issues with data syncing last night.  All my data synched perfectly.

The data is on the device and syncs periodically, so even if the Fitbit.com was down, it would show the correct information once it was back up and you synched.

Hello @bcsurvivor

Every now & then, my Fitbit doesn't track my sleep start/end time correctly. When that happens, I edit my sleep log with the correct time. If you haven't done this before and would like instructions, this article has the steps to follow: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data? (<-- click link)

FYI, I noticed the instructions for Android users mention using the pencil icon to edit the sleep log. It should be tapping on the 3 dots in the upper right of the sleep page for all users.
