Water tracking issues since latest update

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing any issues with water tracking. I’ve never had any problems before this latest update. Now I go in and let’s say I added 32oz, I’ll open the app a few hours later and it’ll be at 11.3oz. It’s always a number like that, 9.1oz, 18.5oz. I have to fix it multiple times a day and also it will do it to the water amounts for the previous day. For example yesterday I had 104oz. When I went in earlier to add some water for today it was showing yesterday’s water intake at 9.4oz. This is incredibly annoying. If anyone knows any way to fix this please let me know!

Hello @jsc676

I'm wondering if there's something going on with the units of measure in the app.

Just brainstorming here. You might try changing the units from fluid oz to mls, sync, then switch back to fluid oz, & sync again. If you want to try this, here are the steps to change the units, if you need them:

  • Tap on your picture/icon (Android) / gear icon (iOS) in the upper right of the Today page and select Fitbit settings
  • Tap on App Settings
  • Tap on Units
  • Tap on Water to display the popup which has the 2 units of measure choices

Hopefully, this might clear out whatever weirdness is going on with your water intake. 🤞

Hey Rieko! Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately it didn’t work. I switched to mls yesterday and no issues but then today when I opened the app for the first time in the morning I saw that it brought down yesterday’s entry from 3,500ml to 284.4ml and was showing 500ml today even though I hadn’t put anything in yet. Switched it back to oz and still doing the same random thing.

I’ll just use a water tracking app. Thanks again!
