Friday my Fitbit said I did 3700 steps (1.7 miles). However, I hardly walked. what I did was make a 400-mile round trip by car, with a two-hour break for lunch. I did not walk 1.7 miles. I've had the Fitbit for a while and as far as I know it has never done this before and the step counter seems to be reasonably accurate. Why was the Friday count so wrong?
