What activities does Charge 5 use GPS on?

Hi!

I am thinking about upgrading from an Inspire 2 to a Charge 5 and I wanted to ask a question.

What activities does the Charge 5 use its GPS on? 

I also want to know if it uses it for swim tracking.

I like putting my activities on Strava but Strava only uploads heart rate for activities with GPS so I am curious what activities track with GPS on the Charge 5.

Hello @OfficialThomas 

It doesn't use it for Swim tracking.  That will only give the number of lengths.  GPS is available for Run, Walk, Hike and Bike as far as I know, but definitely not swimming as many people have been annoyed about it.
