What is this for?

I have a new Charge 5 and just learning about it and how it behaves before making a final decision on keeping it or not.

One question I have is regarding the clock screen.  What is to stacked ^ (typically 3) and the number (14, 17 etc. ) for/meaning?  I thought it may have been for those those who like the 24 hour clock at first, but it doesn't match up.

Cannot find a definition anywhere and would like to know and can it be removed?_

@SunsetRunner I think you are asking about Active Zone Minutes. There's a Help article here that explains what they are. They are related to how much time you spend in Fat Burn, Cardio, and Peak heart rate zones.
