When will I recieve the latest Firmware? Charge 5

I did all the small tips and restarts and even reset my Charge 5… I was told by support a couple days ago that a new version was supposed  to come out to fix the battery dying under an hour issue … does anyone know when we are going to get to see this?? My Fitbit is useless and it’s disturbing to my anxiety! And recent updates will be appreciated.

Thank you for sharing all your feedback and your inquiry about the update of the Charge 5. 

As you mentioned earlier, a new firmware version has been released for the Charge 5 and this update should address the problem with the battery draining too fast.  Please keep in mind that updates are released progressively you should receive it soon as well. I recommend that you sync periodically with your account, as this helps to ensure you receive any updates available as soon as possible.

In the team and in case you haven't received the update, make sure to follow the recommendations listed here to improve battery life as well.

I updated already there are no available updates and As soon as I take my charge 5 off the charger it goes dead instantly! How or who do I need to contact for a replacement because I’m not finding an email or phone number in any of the support tabs to talk to any one!

Does this new firmware require you to install the problematic 171 version first or will the be the ability to skip it and go directly to the next firmware version?
