Hi everyone,I just received the Charge 5 and I noticed that the "upper" band is gaping a bit from the body of the unit and it's somehow wobbly. Tried disconnecting and re-connectimg multiple times,no change.
I'm an Fitbit user for years now and I remember similar issues with the Blaze or/and the Ionic bands. Apart from collecting dirt, I fear that this gap might cause the unit to get disconnected from the band and fall from my wrist.
Do someone has the same issue with their Charge 5? Not sure if this is normal or a cause of concern...

Mine might have a really tiny gap compared to below if you look really closely, but definitely not as huge as your band. I wouldn't have noticed it without this post.

Hi @Lili-
This was definitely an issue the Charge 4 had at the start of its life cycle, as per the multi page thread with people posting about it. Yours is the first complaint I've heard regarding the Charge 5 though, I guess we may have to give it some time to see if it's an issue or not.
I haven't got a Charge 5 yet, so hopefully some of the users who have can confirm if there's have a gap or not.

Unfortunately I did not get a definitive answer from Fitbit support if the issue I'm seeing is a faulty unit or it is by design. Now I'm wondering should I return the unit for a refund or not. The replacement option is for the band only, which won't do anything, as after inspecting the unit, I realized that the upper connector sits somehow higher than the other one, which is causing the upper band to be a bit wobbly. So at this point I can only rely on other owner's experience. Could please someone tell me if they see the same tiny gap on their band or I just have a faulty unit? Thanks a lot to anyone who takes time to reply, appreciated!

Thank you,Sarah. I just saw a demo unit in a tech store near me,it definitely didn't have any gaps. So I will be shipping the unto back to Fitbit for a refund.
I will mark the topic as solved.
