My fit bit stopped working. How can I trouble shoot this

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. As a first step to get things fixed I'd suggest trying to restart your device.To do so please follow these instructions closely as timing is crucial for this procedure:

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

If this won't work for you in the first run, please give it another try as this procedure sometimes requires several attempts to work.

If you're out of luck again, please describe the state of your device a little bit more detailed. Do you see anything on it's display? Doesn't it react on touch? Is the display garbled?
