i did 455 active zone minutes last week and did not get any badges, today did 125 minutes and yet when i look at the Fitbit app sometimes it just says 0 of 50, but shows up as 125 on my charge 5
Best Answerto add the charge 5 watch says 3 miles and less steps than the treadmill says and my under armor shoes say that i am over 4 miles which one is correct , you would think the shoes because they are on the treadmill. you can't add data in Fitbit.
Best Answer@Bogeyboo That probably means that for only 15 minutes of the hour and a half did your heart rate reach the required heart rate, the lower limit of fat-burn zone. It is quite possible to walk at least that long without getting any zone minutes, as opposed to the "active minutes" of a few years ago which had a much lower threshold to earn. Not sure about the newer phone app, but on previous phone app, could tap zone minutes circle and it would tell you the heart rate BPM limits of the fat burn zone. When you don't reach the lower limit of that zone, you will not be earning any zone minutes. Sometimes when you are aware of this, you realize it just takes raising your heart rate a few BPM to make the difference getting into the zone to get Zone Minutes. Of course that's not really such a huge difference in health benefit but just an artificial cut-off point.
Best AnswerHi johnnyRow, but all my active zone minutes are showing up in the app, 6 hrs in the moderate and 2 in vigorous and some in peak! Just not getting the badges for 75, 150, and 300 minutes in a week!! Talked to someone with Fitbit and he explained that they are zone minutes badges , not active zone minutes badges ?!!! Makes no sense!! Thanks for reaching out to me!! Appreciated! God bless 👌👍🙏😇✌️😎
Best Answer@JimCzech Sorry, but I know nothing about badges and personally have no interest in researching them since I am just a volunteer on my own time.
