charge 5 completely comatose...

Really dissapointed with Charge 5 - screen went black yesterday, responded with vibrations each time the USB cable button was pressed but would not reset...and then today the blue logo appeared momentarily when connected to charge cable then sat at a 0% charge rate...and then would only respond to USB button press with a vibration but no screen activity - now no vibration at all when button pressed, black screen, nothing, complete black hole.  Cleaned the contacts, cleaned the screen assured the charge cable worked with my daughters Fitbit...such a huge bummer.  18 months of use.  Any thoughts or suggestions?

Your experience is very similar to mine and a number of other peoples current problems according to the amount of entries of a similar nature on the Charge 5 forum.

I contacted support via a chat session and ended up at a point where the support person simply said they would be emailing me a link to start the process for replacing the charge 5, which I did and am now awaiting the replacement to arrive.

It seems that if the ‘press 3 times’ process doesn’t fix it, there are no other ‘tricks’ to get it working other than replacement?
