dashboard won't let me log in

This morning, when I went to open the fitbit app on my laptop, had a message that I needed to log in again.  Put in my password and message was authorization failed. Would not send a link to change the password.  would not send logs to fitbit so that they can figure out went wrong. 

 

Interestingly, I can log in to fitbit through a web browser with the same password I entered into the app.  And I can see a dashboard on my phone.  But the laptop is my preferred way to access and I can get additional information on drop downs.  Any suggestions?

@jft9954 When you say laptop and laptop app, is this for Windows? If so, Fitbit discontinued Windows late last year.

I know they said that but it was working up until yesterday.
