no luck sending friend requests for the many years I've had Fitbit. The first year I had it I was able to start typing a user name and a list would appear. That doesn't happen now or for several years.

Other problem reports show this as resolved but it's not. i have the latest version of software.

Android, or Apple, @GramiRoses this isn't a Charge 5 issue. 

Error 404 is a not found error. First thought would be to clear the fitbit apps cache. Stop the app and re-open.
