iPhone sync - inaccurate steps??

Hello!
My fitbit died on my way out to a big steps day yesterday and as I was about to start logging a walk manually, I noticed I could now sync my iPhone health data to fitbit, meaning my steps would still be synced. However, something I’m concerned about now is that my steps may be being recorded more than once? Is that possible?

Hi, @Sian_C , there is no need to worry about that.  During the same time period your app will only accept steps from one source.  If you have your Fitbit with you (and it has charge!) it will sync first from your Fitbit and ignore other sources.  If you manually add steps, or sync from another app on your phone, that will  suppress steps detected by your Fitbit.  Your steps will definitely be counted only once however they are added.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums!
