Hi,
Anyone experiencing that finding the phone doesn't work properly? It seems like Android stops the Fitbit app from running on the background.
My Zepplife app (Xiaomi mi band 5)runs permanently in the background and their "find my phone app" works always.
Using Android 12 On Google Pixel 6.
Any idea how to get this fixed?
Btw... This also affects the "use GPS from phone" feature. It doesn't work most of the time. I have to start the Fitbit app on the phone manually.

Hi, @nikstaaa, welcome, the "Find my phone" function, as you correctly understand, depends on Bluetooth and is of course limited in range. If you go into the Fitbit app in the app tray>settings>apps>fitbit>battery, check it is set to "unrestricted".
I hope this helps.
Cheers

@Gr4ndp4 , thanks for your ideas.
Bluetooth is turned on. Phone is in short distance (less than one meter away). As I wrote earlier - it works the moment I start the Fitbit app.
I am using Android 12, Google Pixel 6 Pro, July 2022 patch level. I can confirm that the app's battery settings are set to "unrestricted".
Any other suggestions?

Same for me, but with the Luxe instead of the Charge 5
I run Android 12, Google Pixel 4a, July 2022 patch level
Edit: it now seems to work well

@MicheleNL - what was your fix? Mine still doesn't work reliably.

I'm not really sure, it suddenly worked. But after that it also didn't work on some occasions.
I ended up buying something else, so I'm not using the Luxe anymore.
