restarting does not work

The restarting instructions do nothing. I was not also told to remove the device from my app - the only way to tell the firmware version that it is on. Kind of dumb on my part, but also I trusted the support of a company I've trust is decent for the past 3 years at least. 

 

Id love to hear from an actual support agent and not the small army of bots they have regurgitating the same information that does nothing. If I'm not making my tone clear I am very unhappy, and disappointed, and will never recommend this brand to anyone ever again. Buggy is one thing, but breaking my own property with an "update" and then gaslighting your customers is another.

 

@MarreFitbit I'd really love some help on this. This product is less than a year old and already bricked.
