Hello everyone, I have a Fitbit charge 5 which has the ability to measure Sp02. This feature is used in the night to give an indication of sleep apnea.
However, I’m a little confused why it’s not possible to get a reading during the day. I’d love to measure Sp02 when running or meditating. Am I missing something? I I am please explain to me how I do this.
kind regards, Pepijn Grijpink

that's somewhat... bad (if to be honest). for example, mi smartband 6 does have this function. i compared the readings with those from vital monitor - the BPM and saturation and it was +/- 1 point discrepancy with medical grade bulky device (you know, those the staff rolls along the corridors)

Not necessarily disagreeing, but medical grade spO2 is just the little clip on end of finger that easily fits in pocket and can be bought for ~$20. At doctor's office it is probably wired to be seen easier on screening monitor.
And actually it uses a different method, shining light through your finger, rather than just reflection back to emitting device..

Thanks for info but it’s not what I call a great feature. My charge 5 always says no data available every day until about midday. It shows on my tracker but not on iPhone Fitbit app.

@Bug25 that is a known bug but it seems fitbit is unaware or not able to solve it. I have the feeling the bug appears only in certain time zones, for example I am in South Korea and all my family is affected. Can you please share where you're located?
