treadmill distance not correct

Each time I use the treadmill, it is never accurate compared to the distance the treadmill provides.  For example, this afternoon I ran two miles but fitbit says I only ran 1.84 miles.  If I try to edit the distance, I cant!  What is best practice here to resolve this?

Hello @BiggyDaddy and welcome to the Community.  You'll never get the same distance on your Fitbit as your treadmill.  There are a number of reasons.  IMHO, the best choice is to live with it.
