The watch face on my Charge 5 never closes. My husband's Charge 5 watch face only turns on when he taps it twice. How can I get mine to work that way? I have to recharge it frequently as well.

Go into  Settings and see if you have Always-On turned on for clock faced.  Your clock face would be simplified and dim.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
