I've had a Charge 5. I like it but it stopped working. Got a replacement Charge 6 and its activity minutes aren't recording properly. This company is going downhill fast.
Has anyone solved this problem or is it time to switch to another company?

Hello @GLM2U
Please give us some more details about the issue that you're having with Active Zone Minutes. What are you seeing that shows the Active Zone Minutes are not recording properly?

I have been using Fitbit for years. I walk for an hour; taking considerably over 6000 steps and barely get any activity minutes.
Here's a chart showing activity minutes and steps for the week before the charge 5 died and the week after the switchover to the charge 6 (those two days are in gray). There was no change in location or pace in the week before and after.
Clearly there is something wrong.

Hello @GLM2U
Thank you for providing the additional information.
Have you had a chance to look at your heart rate graphs for your walks and AZM breakdown? If your Charge 6 is tracking lower heart rate ranges during your walks, that is likely why you don't see as many AZMs as you did with your Charge 5.
It might be worth manually checking your heart rate to see how it compares to what your Charge 6 is tracking. If it's significantly off, then you should contact Support (<-- click link).

I'll try that. But right now Fitbit tech support has been useless. I was going to try manually check my heart rate to have more evidence. I've contacted Fitbit support several times and they've been inept, pleasant but completely inept.
It was escalated and I was supposed to be in email communication. Nothing.
I will gather more evidence but at this time I'm fed up with Fitbit / Google.
