I bought the Charge 6 as it had ECG (which didn't work for a year because Fitbit doesn't recognize Northern Ireland as being in the UK). I've had just about enough of the poor software of the Charge 6 and the Android app. Turning off auto activity detection in the app and in each exercise on the band doesn't work when I pair the heart rate to my treadmill - I don't want the Fitbit to track my progress as I have an app for that on the treadmill - I just want to send my heart rate. Stopping the activity stops the heart rate being transmitted. And when I try to delete an exercise in the app, it still shows the summary but when you click on it, the app just hangs. Exercise that other apps post to Health connect get multiple entries in the activity log (same time, same duration, same distance etc) - even the soon to be discontinued Google Fit app can work out it's the same thing, so why can't the Fitbit app? The past year has been nothing but frustration with this poorly executed product. Needless to say, I'll be choosing a better brand as it's replacement that actually does what it's supposed to do. And no, it won't be a Google product.
