Activity tracking

Hi!

I've recently upgraded from a Luxe to a Charge 6, but I can't say I'm totally happy about it.

The most perplexing thing is the workout tracking.

I tried using the built-in app, but it drives me nuts. Whenever i go for a walk, the Charge detects it, but then I'm unable to use the watch. No matter which way I swipe, the fitbit just jumps from stat to Stat, but I can't go back to the usual watch face. I must be doing something wrong, 'cause it seems weird that I can't use my watch as a watch 😕

Sport instead seemed to be working fine: whenever I played tennis, it recorded it as generic "sports" and I was able to look at the time if I wanted to.

As per a community suggestion, I tried removing the app from the fitbit, but now I'm having troubles recording other "stationary" activities (spinning, strength training). I can manually add them afterwards, but the stats seem off, and very lacking in details (not even heart rate during the activity...)

Help?? Thanks!

TL;DR: is there a way to automatically track activities without seeing the stats real time on the fitbit and to effectively record other sports?
