Did you mean:

Afib notifications

ANSWERED

It says you will get notification when you are still or sleeping.

when they say “still” does this mean basically sleeping type still? Or resting with very little movement?

while sitting on the couch , not moving very much I had some chest pain and decided to check ecg. It showed afib. Why did I not get notification?

Notifications are turned on.

@Ruby.Soho   I participated in the Fitbit Heart Study that developed this feature.  Being still is resting with very little arm movement.  It is important to know that this feature doesn't notify you in real time of an episode.  This is from the Help article. "Fitbit doesn't analyze your data in real time.  If you receive a notification, it means we saw signs of an irregular rhythm that may be Afib in the last 24 hours (with regular device syncing).

The Help article isn't clear how long an episode must last to trigger a notification.

Thank you for the response, most helpful . That is really unfortunate. I was under the impression it was on demand like the high heart rate notifications.

it’s still useful but now so much more unattractive as a feature. The idea of being able to get spot data for doctor with ecg would have been really nice.
