I recently started using outdoor biking as a form of exercise. Today, I tracked my workout on my Charge 6, and everything seemed to work fine. However, the biking activity isn’t appearing in the iOS app. While the app syncs my heart rate and active minutes, it doesn’t sync the exercise itself. I know I can manually start and log the exercise in the app, but having to start it both on the device and the app is inconvenient. How can I get the app to automatically sync exercise data from the device? Also, I’ve consistently had sync issues with the device. I’ve had to “forget the device” several times to get it to sync with the app.

Hello @Realbittern
I've seen users report that their recorded workouts don't show up in the app. However, when they get their weekly Fitbit progress email, that shows the correct number of exercise days. Check your progress report email when you get it on Monday to see if your workout data was correctly tracked.
I believe this issue has already been escalated and the team is working on fixing the problem. I haven't seen a timeline for fix or any updates yet.
At this point, there isn't any troubleshooting that we can recommend since the issue seems to be on the Fitbit side.

Thanks. I also want to note that the active minutes show in the app only for that day. They reset to zero the next day. For e.g yesterday I had 57 active minutes which showed on the app. Today, when I try to check yesterday’s data, it shows as zero.
