Charge 6:
1) 7/27 no sleep score, just a checkmark.
2) 7/28 phone sync returns server error message and no Rem or Deep sleep or score; Health metrics incomplete. App says no data for past 24 hours
3) Today, 7/29 sleep again inaccurate with no Rem, Deep or score. I was not awake as it reported! Also Health Metrics continues with no data in BR and HRV
I reset the device. I have been using it the same way for months. This product is disappointing.

I'm experiencing something similar. It won't sync in the app. Have been trying for 4+ hours. Have reset in the device and at the charging cord. This happened a few days ago, as well, but wasn't offline as long. The device itself won't update for sleep, readiness, and other such metrics. It seems service has degraded since the update effective July 9. Ironically, that update removed the ability to access the dashboard everywhere but in the app. They have one job, and can't seem to get it together. I share your disappointment.

I hear you, BeaEff(jogger). I'm wondering if this is their way to try to get us to purchase the subscription (I don't use most of what they offer) or to upgrade to the 'Google' device instead of the Fitbit? At any rate, it's more than disappointing. My friends and I complained loudly about getting rid of the challenges we used for years; those were more supportive in our health community. I'm researching Garmin now. And we moved over to StrideKick; not as good as the pre-google app but ok for now.

I just realized that my reply yesterday to your post above didn't go through, so here it is below:
"After my last post, I realized my app, despite my efforts, hadn't synced for 21 hours. It didn't sync again until evening sometime. I have the Renew Active option through my health insurance.
From what I read elsewhere online, Fitbit is on its way out. By what I'm observing, Google is making it less and less useful. So much for customer loyalty. 😕"
Yesterday evening the following story appeared in my Google news timeline: https://www.techradar.com/health-fitness/fitness-trackers/google-takes-a-break-from-destroying-fitbi.... I can't speak to its veracity, and I haven't seen evidence of the upgrade in my own app, but post it in the interest of fairness. Time will tell whether there is currently a true effort to enhance Fitbit users' experience.
