Barclays Debit Card with Chare 6 Google Wallet

Very simple questiion

The card is up and running in Golle wallet on my Android phone for years with no problem.  CANNOT be added to Goole Wallet on my Fitbit Charge 6...  WHY?  Throws an error when trying to verify with the Bank,  The Verified by Visa Team says, they see the transaction appear then get rejected with "an error code" She didn't know what the code was or what it meant   Is this a Barclays Issue or is this a Fitbit issue?

My Chase card would not even load onto Fitbit Wallet from Google Wallet, even though it was there, visible and selectable.  It wasn't until I added it manually as an additional card (although it wasn't) that it was accepted, pushed me through to Chase to verify myself then it added.  Why is there not the same communication to Barclay Verified by Visa????

Has Barclay done necessary steps on their end so that their card will work with the fitbit/google wallet? This requires an additional setup above the Google wallet setup. 

Did calling the number on the card give you any insight? Has Google support been of any help?

Do you know exactly what necessary steps Barclays need to do?  They all seem as thick and mince when I speak to them. Despite having a Premier account I can never get to speak to anyone technical enough to resolve anything
